Mapping the World's Airports
How quickly can you circle the globe? At GeoEye, all we need is 1.5 hours.
Every 98 minutes, GeoEye's state-of-the-art IKONOS® satellite circles the Earth
collecting single-pass, stereo-image data. This imagery is then used to construct
geospatial airport mapping databases (AMDBS) in accordance with the DO-272/ED-99
global standard.
GeoEye has carefully assembled a complete product suite designed to support airport
operations under normal or emergency conditions. These products include monoscopic
imagery, stereo imagery with elevation extractions, and complete AMDBs for any airport.

Mapping the World's Oceans, Waterways, Ports, and Harbors
GeoEye's comprehensive satellite constellation leaves no body of water unexamined
as it circles the globe collecting imagery. This imagery can be used to make Digital
Nautical Charts (DNCs) and Electronic Navigational Charts (ENCs), meeting the exacting
requirements of S-57 and DX-90 standards.
We can produce three-dimensional geospatial databases for harbor planning and harbor
construction, and for developing security plans to comply with the International
Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code—now mandated for all significant ports
worldwide by the International Maritime Organization.
